Robert Weichert is the founder and partner of WeichertMehner. As an expert in reputation management, he advises companies and organisations on the development and implementation of communication strategies in complex change processes. As a trained negotiation facilitator, he demonstrates particular sensitivity in the management of crises, special situations and challenging M&A projects for which there is no standard procedure. He leads organisations safely through all phases of change or renewal with a high degree of process reliability.
He is interested in data-driven communication based on big data technologies. His expertise in new technologies makes him a competent sparring partner for decision-makers who are actively facing up to the changes of digital transformation.
Robert Weichert holds degrees in humanities and social sciences from the Technical University in Dresden and the renowned private university Regents College in London. Through his work at KohtesKlewes (now Ketchum Pleon), a leading international agency network, as well as positions in corporate communications, he speaks the language of both worlds fluently.
He passes on his practical knowledge to students at the Institute for Communication Science at the TU Dresden. He is also a board member of the HighTech Startbahn Netzwerk e.V., where he supports high-tech start-ups and SMEs in financing rounds, the implementation of growth strategies and innovation management.
