As a strategic sparring partner, Robert Weichert supports management boards, supervisory bodies and executives in situations where trust, control and authority come under pressure.As founder and partner of the specialist consultancy WeichertMehner, he develops communication strategies that provide orientation, secure acceptance and protect reputations – especially when traditional approaches are no longer effective.
Whether CEO changes, transformation, M&A, reputational crises or socially sensitive investment projects: Robert Weichert stands for structured expectation management, resilient narratives and AI-supported visibility. As a trained negotiation facilitator, he has particular experience in escalation situations and in leading through complex stakeholder landscapes.
His focus is on data-driven communication and AI-based reputation management. He is one of the first consultants in Germany to actively incorporate Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) into communication management – for example for digital reputation protection or visibility optimization at management level.
Robert Weichert has worked in leading communications networks (KohtesKlewes / Ketchum) and in corporate communications. He studied humanities and social sciences in Dresden(University of Excellence TU Dresden) and London(Regent’s College) and now teaches at the Institute of Communication Science at TU Dresden. As a board member of the innovation agency HighTech Startbahn, which specializes in deep tech, he supports technology-oriented start-ups and medium-sized companies in financing rounds, growth strategies and innovation communication. He is also a volunteer working group leader for sustainability and ESG in the high-tech network Silicon Saxony, Europe’s leading semiconductor cluster.
In October 2024, the “Workbook Sustainability” was published together with Constanze Reinsberg and Erik Fritzsche – a practical guide to implementing the CSRD and integrating ESG factors into corporate strategy and communication.
