As a Strategic Communicator at WeichertMehner, Dr. Erik Fritzsche specializes in advising companies and organizations in the areas of corporate, change and ESG communication. With his many years of experience, he helps his clients to achieve strategic goals through conceptual clarity, precise orientation and effective communication.

Dr. Fritzsche studied political science, history and law at the University of Excellence TU Dresden and received his doctorate in 2016 with a thesis on organizational and institutional analysis. He has been advising clients from politics, business, administration and civil society for over fifteen years, with particular emphasis on his expertise in the areas of strategy, strategic communication, ESG (strategy, reporting, communication), acceptance communication and the organizational development of communication departments.

Between 2016 and 2024, he was chairman of a regional association for the promotion of moderate prosperity models and sustainability. As a former scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, Dr. Fritzsche has developed in-depth knowledge in strategic consulting and lives his commitment to sustainable and socially responsible communication.

As a Senior Consultant at WeichertMehner, he heads the ESG Risks and Resilience division and supports companies in managing ESG risks and anchoring resilience in their communication strategies.

In October 2024, the “Workbook Sustainability: Understanding ESG factors, mastering change, implementing CSRD” was published, which he co-authored with Constanze Reinsberg and Robert Weichert.
