Gunnar Mothes has a degree in design.He has more than twenty years of professional experience in strategic brand and creative work. His career has taken him through almost all the well-known agencies in the new federal states and through all career stages up to Creative Director. This diversity has shaped his holistic view of communication. Gunnar masters the entire spectrum of brand and campaign: strategically sound, conceptually pure, creatively excellent and medially performant. His wealth of experience in the existing and new customer business is as extensive as it is practical.

Where Gunnar’s idea development begins, derivation ends – and emergent creativity begins: the generation of ideas that cannot be logically derived. That’s why he doesn’t see artificial intelligence as a threat, but as a sparring partner. It has long been part of his everyday life, accelerating processes and acting as a multiplier of opportunities. Gunnar uses AI where it makes sense – knowing that it does not replace what makes the difference: empathy, intuition and the fantastic human synapse fireworks.

A particular focus of his work is the management and development of interdisciplinary creative teams. Gunnar is convinced that it is important to inspire and empower people and make them take responsibility for the shared task – if this is successful, motivation and control become superfluous.
